Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Berth (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Berth website and related services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
Berth is a private infrastructure ledger operated by nheek. For privacy questions, email [email protected].
2. Information we collect
- Account and profile: email address, password (stored in hashed form), and session data needed to keep you signed in.
- Infrastructure records: server names, providers, regions, RAM capacity, site names, domains, URLs, deployment notes, categories, and checklist items you enter.
- Device and technical data: IP address, browser or app version, session tokens, and security logs to operate and protect the Service.
Your server and site inventory is private to your account. We do not publish a public directory of your infrastructure.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- provide your ledger (servers, sites, capacity views, search, and compact layout);
- keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, enforce our Terms, and comply with law;
- communicate important service notices (for example password reset).
We do not sell your infrastructure data or use it to train third-party AI models.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on contract (providing the Service you asked for), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, and service improvement, balanced against your rights), consent (where we ask for it), and legal obligation.
5. Retention
We keep account and inventory data while your account is active. You may delete servers, sites, and your account; deleted records are removed per our retention rules.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact [email protected] to exercise these rights.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version and update the date above.
